A good ol’ striped navy dress is the chicest item one can have in the wardrobe. Especially if stripes are in navy color. There is something that attracts me with blue and stripes.

As you may have already seen from the last post on my “Beach Holiday Essentials,” I always choose items that are very simple but that, when paired correctly, can create an extremely elevated outfit.
Most of the time less is more, and minimalism teaches us that.

THE STRIPED NAVY OUTFIT
Sometimes, the more we strive for a sophisticated outfit, the more mediocre the result.
This is because an elevated outfit does not require too much. In fact, the less we put on, the more mind-blowing it will be.
Here, a striped navy dress is all we need. Stripes, according to the Parisian Instagramers will help us elevate any outfit. Just think of a pair of blue jeans and a striped shirt, nothing more chic.
So why not wear stripes on a nice dress that you can wear to the beach?
If we then pair it with a nice silk scarf to use as a headband or bandana, our outfit will be perfect for a nice weekend on the Amalfi coast.
As for beach wear, I don’t like swimsuits with extravagant colors and patterns. I always stick to neutral colors – I can’t help but include my beloved black– . This year, I’ve been going crazy with high-waisted panties that give the figure a slimmer, elongated look.
Then pair them with some leather slippers and wonderful Bottega Veneta sunglasses ( which you know from my last OOTD posts my favorite ) and Beige Les Exclusifs de Chanel (the most elegant and chic perfume on earth) and you’re done.
