Linen is definitely the fabric of the season: lightweight but sophisticated. It is definitely very beautiful to look at but also very difficult not to crease. Nevertheless, it is and always will be my first choice during the warm seasons.
This set that Zara offers us is really chic. I don’t know about you, but I love so much to wear matching sets. I think they make the look much more elevated and make it look very sophisticated with minimal effort.
Paired then with these brown leather slippers also from Zara will complete the look in the best way.
I see myself wearing this outfit through the narrow streets of Positano and Sorrento with a nice straw hat my beloved Bottega Veneta sunglasses (although now I have my eyes on this pair of Celine ). These as you know are unfailing inside my bag. They are the most beautiful sunglasses I have ever owned in my collection and are the staple of my looks.
For calling a minimalist lifestyle and consequently also having a minimalist wardrobe I definitely recommend you to buy them because they are a must have that will never go out of style.
OLFACTORY ACCESSORY
Perfume then, is an olfactory accessory that in my opinion should be matched with both the outfit and one’s mood. Generally, my only unfailing choices fall on two brands : Chanel and Diptyque. Two French brands that in my opinion are absolutely the master perfumers par excellence.
This time, I decided to select Chanel’s “Le Lion.” The amber notes and leathery accents of labdanum are softened and enlivened by vanilla, bergamot and lemon. It is an enveloping, majestic and refined scent that I believe goes perfectly with this ensemble.
The name of the perfume represents Gabrielle Chanel’s zodiac sign and consequently her strong personality.
If, on the other hand, you are feeling a little more romantic, I recommend pairing it with my favorite perfume par excellence : BEIGE also by chanel.
Beige is a reassuring color that with its refined naturalness elevates the woman who wears it. Beige is an intense floral accord of hawthorn finely enhanced by honeyed notes.
It’s amazing how I can be mesmerized by this fragrance!
