Since working from home has become the norm, the question we ask ourselves the most is: how to stay active while working from home?

If working from home at first seemed like a great idea (no more waking up early in the morning, no more time wasted in traffic), after two years it almost turned out to be a nightmare. Social relationships have almost failed especially we have become more and more sedentary. Although previously leaving home to get to one’s place of work was part of our daily workout, working from home has nullified it.

Therefore, after two years of working from home, we have found more and more tricks to stay active even while working from home.

There is nothing worse than spending all day at your desk in front of a computer.

Above all, one should definitely not underestimate the minor physical problems associated with it: back pain, neck, headaches and loss of vision.

It all sounds very tragic, but these are really the side effects you can get. Not to mention the famous tech neck due to incorrect neck posture at the pc.

One of the most common symptoms of working too much on the PC is definitely eye fatigue.
Another is back pain due to overloading the weight on the spine.

This is why taking precautions is essential to avoid even more serious problems.

TIPS AND TRICKS  TO STAY ACTIVE WHILE WORKING FROM HOME

After two years of working from home, everyone has experimented with their own methods of staying active in front of the desk.

This would seem to be a difficult undertaking. Yet there are some very effective methods. You know how much I love workouts from home. That’s why I have mastered some tips for you in this case as well.

It is actually nothing transcendental. Yet, they will change the mood of your day and make you feel more awake and active throughout the eight hours of work.

TAKE SHORT BREAKS

Do you know the tomato technique? this consists of working 25 consecutive minutes without distraction and then taking a 5-minute break. This will allow us to stay more focused and productive. During this 5-minute break it would be essential to get up and do some stretching.

This is of absolute importance to stay active.

CHOOSE AN ERGONOMIC SEAT

Our seat in front of the desk is where we spend most of our time.
We should try to choose one that is as comfortable as possible and try to get a nice footrest as well.

HOUSEWORK

Why not combine the useful with the enjoyable? In between calls, try doing some household chores. Not only will it keep your house clean while saving time, but it will unknowingly make you more active!

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LUNCH BREAK

During the lunch break it would be good to take a short walk. This will help not only to digest better, but also to be more active by avoiding post-lunch drowsiness.

HOME WORKOUTS

As soon as you can find a moment, at-home workout is ideal. You don’t necessarily need a membership. Lots of short but very effective workouts can be found on You Tube. In this post I tell you about my favorite at-home workouts.
