Have you ever visited the Gucci museum in Florence? Currently known as Gucci garden, it was founded in 2011 to mark ninety years since the brand’s birth. It was initially conceived designed by then creative director Frida Giannini and then later revamped by successor Alessandro Michele.

As you well know, Florence is the city of art par excellence. Just as Botticelli’s Venus shows all its splendor, fashion is also an art form to the utmost power and its beauty should be shown. Moreover, Florence is the hometown of the fashion house and the Gucci family. The fashion house wanted to delight us with a wonderful museum that traces the life and history of Gucci’s founder step by step.

You obviously know how much do I love travelling. Even if I’ve got two days off from my stressful job, I always try to escape from the daily routine.

I’m very fortunate that my boyfriend approves my crazy ideas – I have to admit that He has crazy ideas too-.

Lately we have been to Florence, a city that I really adore. I went there many times before but every time is always like the first.

We were lost in this amazing city and suddently we saw this Gucci Museum that is right in the center of florence in Piazza della Signoria. It is a building on 4 levels where you can live and discover the history of Guccio Gucci, the founder and creator of this amazing empire.

We have been immediately catched by the precise attention to details, from the staff courtesy to exhibition. It is well known that Gucci handle fashion in any field, from clothing to free time, from leather to cinema industry.

I also found an hand bag with my initials on – you can see it from a picture above-.

What about clothes? There were many rooms designated to the exposition of some suits and dresses designed and created exclusively for movie stars, unique and amazing pieces.

Also, I discovered later that a part of the income gained from the ticket collect is devolved to the restoration of the city of Florence. A fantastic initiative that is worth the price, only 7 euro.
