After a long search, I have come to my final verdict on the best sushi place to eat in Rome: Sushi Sen.
If you have arrived on this blog it is because you too are passionate about Japanese cuisine and would like to know where to go. I will tell you already that it is not an “all you can eat” place and if you are used to eat in those places then I can definitely tell you that you have never tasted the real sushi…
You could have understood already from the title the place in question and Sushi Sen. It is my little corner of Japanese culinary paradise in Rome. The place is located in Aventino quarter, in Rome. It is a very central zone in the city and is easily accessible by public transportation.
Obviously ,in Japanese style, the place is small but cozy at the same time. The waiters and all the staff in general are excellent professionals who, if you do not know much about this type of cuisine, will certainly help you on the food’s choice. Clearly, you will not only eat sushi but you will be able to enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine in all its forms. You will be able to taste the dishes accompanied by a wine that the sommelier will surely be able to suggest you by matching it with your chosen dishes.

SUSHI SEN: THE MENU
The menù is minimal but has everything you need. As you can see from the pictures rolls are easy but super delicious. what I really advise you to taste is the salmon and tuna sashimi. Just from these two simple fish crudité, you can feel the freshness and high quality products they use. This, paired with super expert sushi men is what gives this place the name of best sushi in the city of Rome.
SUSHI SEN: THE PRICE
Since it is not an “All you can Eat” restaurant, price varies from the plates you order. We paid 105 Euro for two people, two glasses of wine included.

After my amazing trip to Sardinia, this is the best place I have been to during this summer.
