OOTD For the Rainy Days

OOTD For the rainy days is a an ensemble of clothing pieces that I love to wear every time it rains. Although where I live, Rome, it doesn’t rain often, when it does a pair of rain boots and a raincoat are always necessary.

OOTD FOR THE RAINY DAYS

I love having evergreen pieces in my wardrobe that I can use for a long time and most importantly create endless combinations. The secret is to always use the same color palette so you won’t have trouble thinking of what to pair what with. An evergreen piece and new entry in my wardrobe is definitely this beautiful quilted jacket. It looks great and can be used pretty much anytime, not just on rainy days. It will also make you look chic and fabulous even on the grayest of days.
For the warmer days, I would opt, instead, for a trench coat, a staple piece for me.

I love pairing colorful coats or jackets always with a basic or dark colored outfit. In this case, I paired it with a cotton pantsuit and vest from Mango.

Obviously, on rainy days the absolute best shoes to use are Hunter Boots. I bought this model recently because I wanted a change. They are mid-length and come up to the calf. You can’t imagine how comfortable the sole is. It feels like walking on a cloud. You absolutely must have a pair.

Also, I don’t know about you but I love wearing, even in the winter, baseball hats. I absolutely love this one from New York Yankees in the color blue which is my favorite. Yes, after black, blue is my favorite color when it comes to clothing.
