Chanel Eau de Teint

Lately, I’ve been testing a lot of Chanel products, and among them is the new Chanel Eau De Teint. A new tinted face serum from this amazing French brand.

As you know, before writing a review I try to test products for at least a month. This time the star is Chanel Eau De Teint, Chanel’s water-based face tint. I was intrigued by this product due to the fact that I don’t really like foundations as I find them very heavy on my face and then. I’m not even used to wearing them. This one though, being water based made me very curious because I thought it could have a very light finish.

Also, like a little girl, I was intrigued by these little colored balls that color the clear liquid as soon as you mix the product with the brush. By the way, an extra point was given to this product due to the fact that, with the foundation, comes a brush extremely suitable for the application of this unique and wonderful product.

Chanel never misses a thing, and this is another product of its range that I adore. I wrote about it here.

CHANEL EAU DE TEINT

The consistency is fantastic, liquid but not too much, and as soon as you mix it with the brush and the balls release the color, it turns into a real color serum.

I have to preface this with the fact that it doesn’t give you a full coverage effect, but for girls who don’t have any particular issues and simply want to even out their complexion, it’s perfect.
In fact, it makes the complexion look like porcelain, like a baby’s skin.

It moisturizes the skin all day long without drying it out and is perfect for all skin types, even oily or combination skin like mine.
In fact, at first I wasn’t too sure about buying it for fear that it might polish my T-zone since it claims to be a moisturizing product.

Well, I tell you: BUY IT.

Personally, I bought it at Sephora because it was a sale period. At full price, it costs on Chanel’s website… but I would absolutely buy it again even without a discount.

As soon as you apply it, you won’t notice a big difference, but let the product dry and I assure you, you will notice the difference. Most of all, you won’t understand how a product that is over 70% water can make a difference.

HOW TO APPLY CHANEL EAU DE TEINT

Apply a pump on the back of your hand, take the brush provided and start mixing the product in circular motions. Then, with the brush “soaked” in product, apply it on face, starting from the inside out, with circular movements as well.

Wait a few seconds for it to dry, apply other cream or liquid products like Chanel Tan de Soleil, my absolute favorite bronzer. Concealer where needed and then set with a thin layer of powder. Especially on the T-zone and areas where you applied concealer.

Ps. Don’t forget to highlight for a fresh look. I adore the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. Complete review here.

And that’s it.

You’ll look flawless and with skin to be envied. Plus, this base will last all day long.

Word of a Chanel beauty addict.

I have never been happier to have purchased a make up product.
I will definitely be purchasing it again.

Also, I think it’s perfect for summer because of its very light texture.
