The Sunday Post: walking our dog out

Today has been a beautiful day in Rome, sunny and warm. So we took advantage of it and we went to this beautiful park to make our dog happy, it deserve it! The park is the bigger I've ever seen in Rome and is made up of an area just for the dogs, where they can run freely with other dogs. As soon as we untied Cesare (the name of our dog, a typical Roman name) it started running towards other dogs. It is so easy for them to make friends hahahaha. They spent almost al the time running after each other like it was the funniest thing to do ever and we were laughing while watching them, they were so funny. Then we had a long long walk through this amazing green space. It was so pleasant to walk through nature, hearing just the twitter of birds instead of the noise of car's motors! We sat on a bench and everything was perfect:  weather, company, place. I needed to spend this beautiful afternoon, usually at Sundays i stay at home with my boyfriend chilling on the sofa thinking how useless is this day of the week but this time i really enjoyed Sunday!!

The recipe:Italian piadina romagnola with egg plants and cherry tomatoes

After a long time i'm back with another recipe. I didn't planned to do it but today, i was preparing my lunch and i thought: i really like this piadina, maybe i should share it with my readers and here i am writing about it. It is super easy and fast to make and the results will be incredibly delicious. I bought the piadina (is a typical italian  flat and unlevelled bread made in Emilia Romagna that is in the north of Italy) but if you don't find it, you can make it your self. Usually the piadina is made with lard in the mixture, but i wanted it really simple and healthy. This recipe is for 4 person so halve the recipe if you are two.

ingredients for Piadina:
-you will need a skillet or a griddle (diameter 30 cm)
-rolling pin
-1 kg flour
-hot water

Mix gradually flour and water untill you have a dough. If your dough is too moist add more flour, knead energetically for 5-8 minutes, or until the dough is elastic. Cover the dough and let it rest for a half hour. After 30 minutes, take the dough, roll it out into a snake, divide it into 10 equal portions, and shape them into balls. Then, spread a little bit of flour on the table, put on ball on the flour and with a rolling pin untill it is a thin disc. Repeat this process with every ball.
Heat your skillet untill it's hot and put your first piadina on it, cook it on one side and tamp down the bubbles with a spatula, after two minutes check the other side and when you think it's done, flip it on the other side and let it cook.

Ingredients for the filling:
- egg plants cubes (as you want lol)
-cherry tomatoes (the same as above)

-olive oil

take a frying pan and heat it untill it's hot. Then, add a table spoon of olive oil and egg plant cubes. let il cook fro 2 or 3 minutes, add a little bit of water, and let it cook covered for 5 to 10 minutes, it depends on how cooked you want the egg plants cubes. Now take you cherry tomatoes and cut it into 4 parts, add a little bit of olive oil and salt and mix it very well. Now take your piadina, put your cubes and tomatoes in the middle of the piadina, close it and it's ready to be eaten.

I hope you enjoy the recipe and let me know in the comments below how do you find this!

What I Purchased: Stradivarius wallet!

It happened, i was walking at the mall and i decided that i wouldn't have bought anything but i stumbled into this beautiful "spring\summer" wallet. since i love floreal patterns for this summer, i didn't resist to this lovely item. It is from Stradivarius and i bought if for 10 Euros! I usually don't change my wallet but i decided that i will use this wallet during the summer months and my usual one during winter!

I love the combination between floreal patterns and pastel colours especially pink. I think this summer i will buy tons of floral pastel dresses because i think these will be summer2014 must have! I absolutely have to print a picture of me and my boyfriend to isert it into my new wallet.

Go and check Stradivarius spring\summer collection (here) because i really love it. I hope that my pictures are satisfactory.

It's hard to say goodbye

It's always hard to say goodbye to a person you really care about, whether it is your boyfriend, your parents or a friend. I don't really know how to act, if i have to be positive, showing to the other person that everything is gonna be ok or just pouring out my emotions and release my feelings. Maybe i'm pessimistic, but when you separate yourself from a person for a long time something is going to change, perhaps in a better way or not but i assure you that even a little thing is going to change and i don't like changes, they really scare me, you don't know what to expect from them and you don't know where this road is going to lead.

I just want the best for the person that i love and that's why sometimes i hide my feelings that can interfere with my loved one dreams. One thing is sure, everything will pass, but belive me, It's always hard to say goodbye.

Song on repeat on my ipod:

Paris or Dublin

I love travelling, i really do. I always say that i would spend all my money doing it. Last year me and my boyfriend went, in September 2013,  to London ( to see my blog posts about it click here and here) that i absolutely adore (i'm thinking about moving there). The weather was perfect: mild, sometimes sunny sometimes not (of course, it's London ahhaha), it was breezy = everything i could ask for! We really enjoyed the 5 days we spent there, we adored visiting every part of the city, taking the tube and chatting with local people (they're really nice!).
Now we are planning to do another trip and we don't know what city to choose. We are uncertain whether to go to Paris or Dublin.

Paris is the city of love, fashion, monuments, baguettes. Tourists think of this city as "the most romantic of all the cities". I would like to take pictures under the Tour Eiffel that has about 6 milion visitors every year, and to have a petit-dejeuner with croissant. I would like to shop in the champs elysess, go to the Louvre that is the most visited art museum in the world but most of all to go to Disneyland Paris that is the main attraction not only for French people but for every people all around the world.

Pictures Source tumblr
Then we have Dublin that is the capital and most populous city of Ireland. Its name derives from the Irish name Dubhlinn that means "black pool". It is considerated as one of Europe's most youthful city, there are many pubs around the city especially in Harcourt Street, Camden Street, Wexford Street and Leeson Street. The best known area for nightlife is Temple Bar. Also the city has numerous shopping districts so i can shop in this city as well. I have to say that even though i never went there, i love Dublin, I feel like i already know it and already love Irish people.

So, What city do i have to choose?? Dublin or Paris.

The Beauty Tag

I saw this tag over Lauren Wanders blog that i find really interesting, she writes about fashion, make up, beauty and about her life too. So, go and check her blog. Now let's start the beauty tag!

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
I started using make up during middle school and my mom didn't allow me to use black eye liners at all that's why, the first make up item that i ever bought was a mascara! Now that i remember i was really sad because i really wanted a black eyeliner like my friends, but now i think that a middle school girl does not need eyeliner to be beautiful, a touch of mascara is more than enough.

2. What kind of coverage do you prefer for your foundation?
I prefer light coverage foundations because i do not bear heavy foundations. I even think that my skin does not need an high coverage foundation because i don't have imperfections except for some redness during winter (and maybe a pimple during my period ahahh). I use the maybelline dream matt mousse, i reviewed this product recently and you can click here to read it. Instead, i prefer to use high coverage concealers where i need more coverage.

3. Favourite high end brand?
Mac is my favourite.

4. Favourite drugstore/high street brand?
It would be Maybelline or Revlon, but it really depends because i don't like every product of these brands, for example i love Maybelline nail polishes and revlon foundations.

5. What cosmetics brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
Laura Mercier products because i tried a sample of laura mercier tinted mosturizer when i was in New York and i really love it but where i live (Italy) they don't sell products of this brand (or at least i think).

6. Do you wear fake eyelashes?
I don't. Maybe i would wear it during a special occasion but untill now it never happened.

7. Is there any kind of makeup you can't leave the house without?
Concealer, and Mascara. Especially when i go to university i MUST conceal my undereyes circles abd mascara to open up my eyes.

8. What is your most cherished beauty product?
I don't have one, i love to constantly change products to try new ones but if i have to choose a preferit one i would say Neve Make up-Flat Perfection, it is a mineral foundation and that means that our skin can breath and it does not damage our skin with bad ingredients because it is made all with natural ingredients. I'm a little bit obsessed with ingredients because sometimes in our foundations there is something like parabens, silicon and a lot more that are really dangerous for our skin!

9. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you pick out a lot of products at once?
I buy few products when i need them or when i pass through a drugstore and somthing takes my attention.

10. Do you have a 'beauty budget'?
No i don't because i don't have an obsession for beauty products, once i had it but now i found my staples and i don't like so much to change.

11. What type of product do you buy the most?
Lip sticks!

12. Do you have a favourite place to shop for makeup?
No i don't

13. If you could only buy from one brand, what brand would you choose?
That's a mean question ahahha. I don't know what is my answer but i would choose MAC.

14. Which brand has the best packaging?
I love Benefit packagings, hey're lovely.

15. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Lawrence.

16. Which do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
Foundation and than concealer because after i apply foundation sometimes i don't even need to apply concealer at all!

17. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
No, everything has its function.

18. Do you apply your foundation with a brush, sponge or fingers?
It depends on how i want my finish but i usually wear fingers.

19. Which foundation do you use the most?
Maybelline- Dream Matt Mousse

20. Do you use a makeup base or primer for they eyes?
I only use primer on my eyes and i use the Kiko one!

I hope you enjoyed this Tag, Tag my blog as well and let me know in the comments below if you decide to do it so i can read your versions xx

Favorite body lotion plus #NOTD

Vanilla, vanilla, vanilla, what an amazing nature's gift, at least for me. I'm pretty sure i like everything that is made with vanilla, from vanilla ice creams to body lotions. Actually, i want to to talk about the last one. What you see in the picture above, is my favorite body lotion that i've ever tried. It does its job very well because it moisturizers my skin really well and it leaves the perfect smell on my body that really last long. If you close your eyes and smell it, it feels like you are on an exotic beach Unfortunately it was a gift and i don't know where they bought me this marvel but i can tell you that this is from the brand Nature's . I have to say that this cosmetic brand produces pretty good products even if i tryed few products of their. The packaging contains 100 ml of product that for me is not enough because i really do like mosturizing my body a lot. I love when , after having a bath (especially) or a shower, it's time to choose what body lotion you're going to apply on your skin. I always don't know what to choose because i would like to save this one to make it last longer because as i said before the product is not enough FOR ME and i don't want to finish it.

Since spring time is coming (yaaaaaaaaaay) i wanted my nails to have a pastel but not striky colour so i opted for this beautiful creamy colour from Maybelline color show . It last on my nail for a week and it is a goal for my nails since a nail polish on me lasts no longer than 4 days :(

I'm so excited for spring to come, i can't wait to wear brighter colours, dresses but most of all i don't want to wear coats and gloves anymore (even if i don't wear gloves from one month i think). Since i'm always cold, i love for the hotter season to come. Actually, now that i'm thinking about it, the days should pass slower since i'm not ready for my dress rehearsal, but that's an another stuff!!

#OOTD and more

Here we are again with my first Outfit of the day. First of all excuse me if in this picture my face is really sad, but i'm not good at modeling. I can't stop laughing at this photo. By the way, the outfit is nothing special but comfy. I always use to wear boots and cardigans because are my staples. Maybe in this list i can add leggins too because you have to know that somedays my body refuses to wear trousers and i have to replace them with leggins, i love them, are super comfy ( i think that my wardrobe is all about the word comfortable ahha), some of them are warmer than jeans and i can stay here for hours describing them in a positive way. Also i love to wear t-shirts and cardigans because they are COMFY but at the same time they do a perfect pairing. The shirt and cardigan in the picture above are both from FOREVER21. I bought them during my trip in San Francisco. Shoes instead are from AKIRE' and they are super cheap because i bought them for 20 Euros.

Here i live you with my happy face after my boyfriend gave me this beautiful bunch of mimosa for women's day. I was so surprised :)

Homemade organic peanut butter recipe

  • 3 cups dry-roasted peanuts
  • salt (i don't usually use it because i like it without salt as well)

  1. Add the peanuts to a food processor or high-speed blender. Process on medium until a fine peanut meal forms.
  2. Increase the speed to high and process or blend, until the peanuts are smooth and creamy. If peanut butter gets stuck to the bottom of the food processor or blender, you may need to use a spoon or spatula to release it before continuing to process. The longer you process, the runnier the peanut butter will become.
  3. Once the peanut butter has reached the desired consistency, add a pinch of salt and process briefly to incorporate. Taste and continue to add salt until desired saltiness is reached. Pour your peanut butter into a lidded container and store it in the refrigerator.
It's super easy and fast to do it and the result is AMAZING. I'm sorry if i didn't take any pictures, i hadn't my camera with me at that moment so i had to take a picture on tumbl. It was the first time i made this recipe and i was so glad as i saw the results. I recommend you to try it because it really worth it and if you a peanut butter lover like me you will enjoy this recipe more. Let me know in the comments below if you're interested in making it and obviously let me know you results. But above all, don't forget to follow my blog!!

Black and white are my favourite winter colours, they're staple, they can be matched with any colour, they never make you feel to much and i don't know you, but i don't like to wear bright colours during winter. Now i have this trouble, since spring is coming, i don't know if i still have to buy winter clothes or starting buying spring ones. I'm still attracted to boots but i know that in some weeks the weather will be hotter and  i'm probably not  going to wear them anymore.

I already have a couple things in my wish list, a pair of boots, a watch and a bag. Now all i have to do is to rake together some money because these items are pretty much expensive for me (i would like to remind you that i don't have a job anymore). See, this could be another "to do thing": find a new JOB.

By the way, i think i will miss my cozy sweaters and coats, my warm boots and beanies, i'll miss sipping hot beverages, watching movies under duvet, but at the same time i can't wait for summer to come. i'm determined to travel a lot this summer, and also in september me and my boyfriend are planning to go to Paris, Berlin or Dublin. We still have to choose and i'm so undecided, i love all these three cities.
