Our London trip part 2

Here we are with the second part of our London trip. Unfortunately the weather was not so good, it was cloudy and rainy all the time but it was amazing as always.

Brownies recipe

  • 1¼ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons dark unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 11 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup (8 ounces) unsalted butter, softened and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (if you don't have it it's not necessary)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional, this is my addition)
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter the sides and bottom of a 9×13-inch glass or light-colored baking pan. 
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, salt, and cocoa powder together.
  3. Put the chocolate, butter and instant espresso powder in a large bowl and set it over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring occasionally, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and smooth. Turn off the heat, but keep the bowl over the water and add the sugars. Whisk until completely combined, then remove the bowl from the pan. The mixture should be room temperature.
  4. Add 3 eggs to the chocolate mixture and whisk until combined. Add the remaining eggs and whisk until combined. Add the vanilla and stir until combined. Do not overbeat the batter at this stage or your brownies will be cakey.
  5. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the chocolate mixture. Using a rubber spatula (not a whisk), fold the flour mixture into the chocolate until just a bit of the flour mixture is visible. Gently fold in chocolate chips if using, reserving 1/4 cup.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the 1/4 cup of reserved chocolate chips on top. Bake in the center of the oven for 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through the baking time, until a toothpick inserted into the center of the brownies comes out with a few moist crumbs sticking to it. Let the brownies cool completely, then lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares and serve.
  7. Store at room temperature in an airtight container or wrap with plastic wrap for up to 3 days.

The vampire diaries 4x23

Yesterday i was watching The Vampire diaries and in a 40 minutes episode everything happened (both beautiful and sad). If you've not already  watched the episode i recommend you not to read this post. Here i just want to share with you my emotions about it :)

I was expecting this to happen since forever and finally happened, but i'm afraid it won't lasts long (i don't know why i have this feeling). While i was watching this scene i was incredulous but i screamed for the happiness :) FINALLY IT HAPPENED.

 K: Tyler is now free to return to Mystic Falls

 C: What?
 K: He's your first love and i intend to be your last however long it takes

OMG i was about to cry, i love Caroline and Klaus more than Elena and Daemon. I can't wait to watch the 5th serie to see what will happen :)

Unfortunately something sad happened, Bonnie died so sad but i think that in some ways she will return back (i hope so).

No other words to say: I LOVE THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

You should definitely put a scarf on

Sometimes, when i wear something simple as jeans plus a t-shirt, i always like to embellish the style adding a beautiful scarf. That makes your simple look more sophisticated and maybe colorfull or classy if you want. I think that is what fashion means: turn simple things into something particular. I also like to play with colors, for example i like to wear in black or white an then add an accessory for example a particular necklace, big earring, a SCARF, but at the contrary when I wear something particular i prefer not to wear too many thing.

Look for example how the simple style of Britney Spears is enriched with a scarf. She decided not to play with colors but with skulls. The other pictures show different coats and jackets matched with scarves that complete the look.

My week through pictures


Hey there, I decided to do this post every sunday just to give you a little update of my week, as the title says, through pictures. I think it's a good idea, let me know what you think.

OMG if i stare at this picture i want to have another ginseng coffee and chocolate muffin :) Maybe one day i'll  make some and i'll post the recipe. By the way i think that almost everyone is addicted to coffee, well so am I and i decided to drink more variant possible, that's one of it: Ginseng coffee.

this week i went to my hair saloon. I cutted my hair just a little bit, just the necessary to mantain them healthy. I decided to have my hair weavy and that was it. I don't know why but my hair are way more lighter that this.

this week has been my Grandmother's birthday and as usual we bought her a cake. I really love fuity cakes :)

Me and my boyfrieand decided to do some crepes and we like to fill them with nutella. We ate loads of them  I can't remember how many, but i can say they were delicious :) ( I'm sorry for the bad quality)

How to burn more calories on a Treadmill

Today i started to go to the gym, i would like too lose weight (not too much) but the reason why i decided to start it is because I don't want to be lazy anymore. Also i would like to eat healthy but at the same time eating junk food too xD. Working hard at the gym makes me feel like i earned that piece of cake, that plate of pasta and any kind of food we know that we have to cut out. Obviously there are loads of ways you can burn down the extra calories but my next goal is to be able to run for a hour straight (i already know for me would be impossible but i will try it). By the way some days ago i found on pinterest a picture that shows a treadmill interval training that allows you to burn 400 CALORIES.

I will try to workout at least 3 times a week because if you don't do it constantly i will be worhless.

That's what friends are for

And if I should ever go away eell, then close your eyes and try to feel the way we do today And then if you can remember Keep smiling, keep shining knowing you can always count on me, for sure that's what friends are for , for good times and bad times I'll be on your side forever more that's what friends are for.

I decided to write this post just to pour out my emotions. Lately a friend of mine is having some family problems. She decided to talk about them with me and after what she told me i realized why she has been so strange this period. Obviously i don't want to share her problems but I'm writing just to share MY feelings about this. Well i felt immediatly sad after that talk, i was tring to identify my self with her and i thought that i couldn't have handled all this pain alone, i would have needed a friend beside me, a friend to talk to, a friend to laugh with, a friend that can make me forget about my problems even if i'm quite sure i can't. By the way i think that if in our lives we'll find a friend, a REAL friend, we have to consider our self LUCKY. it is not so easy to find a person who really cares about us and you realise it after a long period. Well, our friendship is 10 years long and now i can tell that i FOUND A REAL FRIEND.

Our London Trip Part 1

Some weeks ago i went to London with my boyfriend. We decided to go there because we wanted to see Macklemore&Ryan Lewis' concert. We stayed in there for 5 days and i think it was enough to visit the whole city. We live in Italy so the flight was 2 hours long, landed in Stansted, took a bus for Liverpool Streed and went to Bow Road where our house was. I have to say that we WALKED a lot, at the end of the day i was always super tired and my feet were always burning and hurting (i don't even want to think about it). Beside all this feet hurting we saw amazing monuments,streets, pubs, shops and so on.
 This was a little house near ours and i took a picture of it because it was lovely and i thought "One day i would like to own a little house like that". I don't know if it's never going to happen because i don't think in Rome (where i live) a house like this exists.
                                   As i said before we walked a lot but i enjoyed every thing i saw.

             I'm sorry if i've been absent, but these days have been really tough    because  I had loads of university exams to do.

4 Ways to Amp Up Your Morning Toast
I just have to say that these stressful days really made me hungry. I don't know (and i really would like to know) why studing always makes me feel like this. I guess the only solution should be stop studing LOL. By the way these exams really went well and i'm so happy about it.


I didn't shopped a lot lately but i've bought two items that i'm really loving. My new BB Cream by garnier is amazing. It's everything that i always wanted. It's not heavy as a normal foundation and it's super easy to apply. I think I'll do a reviw about it but first i want to use it for more days.

I got my BB Creme on.
